February updates and self-improvement recap
club events, friends, trying new things like Pinterest
Hi!
February was a pretty exciting month for me
Exercise
I switched from my goal of jogging once a week to walking 15k steps at least one day a week. I changed my goal because I really hate jogging and walking enough is just as good (for my lifestyle). I still have the goal of 3k steps a day too (January update).
I did a beach cleanup and wow that was tiring but good exercise though
Friends & Family
My birthday’s in February so I went out a lot this month. I went out with 3 different friend groups (this is a lot for me hahaha).
For family, I spent a lot of time visiting my grandparents this month. So I hung out with my extended family a lot.
Me-time
This is something that I always prioritise. I always make sure there’s a day in the week where I do nothing and just spend time with myself.
Cooking
I cooked salmon using an air fryer and it turned out really well!! Here’s the website / recipe I followed: link
Club commitments
Good update: I applied and got accepted into the event planning committee for a big flagship event. YAY. This club is super organised and I’m working under a director so it’s quite chill
Stressful update: For a club where I’m a director, I was forced to collaborate with another club on a project. But, that club I’m working with is really inefficient and doesn’t seem to do work unless I chase them for it. This has caused our promotional material to go up way too late and resulting in a low number of participants. Also, they’re so sneaky and changed things last minute and acted like it’s my fault?! I haven’t been this mad in years. I hope that karma gets the people from that club, especially a specific girl
Preparing for studies
Next semester, I have a class that has a big presentation where we need to where super formal attire. So, I found and bought a suit that’s good quality but not too expensive
Looks
I started learning to put on makeup. I’m only doing the basic primer, concealer and foundation though. I’m not ready for things like mascara or eyeliner hahaha. Oh and I also got my eyebrows done (wax doesn’t hurt as much as what people say)
I started using Pinterest!
I’m not someone who posts on social media. I don’t post on Instagram, I only post stories and even then most of my stories are reposts from friends who tagged me in their stories.
I love Pinterest because it’s not about posting. It’s about finding ideas and getting inspiration from others. I’ve made so many boards!
