Hi!
I’ve been trying out different methods of organisation for life in general for the past few months and I think I have the best and simplest method that doesn’t need much effort in setting up.
Schedule - Digital Calendar
My phone and iPad calendar are linked to my Google calendar. Which means I don’t need to download another app, and I get notifications to remind me about my upcoming plans.
I put EVERYTHING into my calendar: class schedule, appointments, meetings, plans with people etc.
Since I schedule everything into my calendar, I always check my calendar when making plans and scheduling my life. This ensures nothing clashes and I can see how much time I have in the day to to other things.
I really like this system cause it’s easy to use and doesn’t need any setting up. Everything’s online, it’s easy to check your schedule as a whole, it’s easy to add things
Tasks - Reminders App / MinimaList App (iPhone)
We all have a bunch of random tasks to do everyday.
If it’s something I need to do at a certain time, like emailing someone or making a call, I put it in the Reminders App on my phone so it’ll remind me to do it at that time.
If it’s just a general task I need to do, I’ll put it in the MinimaList App on my phone. I love this App. It’s so clean and simple, and you can add widgets of it so it’s super easy to check your tasks of the day.
Habits - Notion
I’ve been using this habit tracker on Notion by Yhoan Blanco (link)
I like how simple it is to use, and track your progress. I especially like how there’s an overall percentage tracker at the top.
The best part is that it’s all coded and pre-made, so you can start using straight away without having to set anything up, unless you want to customise it to your own liking which will probably only take around 10 minutes.
